Covid-19 Reopening
Dear Church Family,
We all miss being together, and can't wait until we can gather to worship together again. I can barely wait! As that day gets closer, we are preparing ourselves for that reality.
Ecclesiastes 8:6-7 tells us, “Because to every purpose there is time and judgment, therefore the misery of man is great upon him. For he knoweth not that which shall be: for who can tell him when it shall be?"
What Solomon is saying is that there is both a right decision to make, and a right time for that decision to be implemented. And, because no one knows what the future will look like or when decisions should be made, the weight on a person’s shoulders can be very heavy.
And so, we will gather the best available information, and, together, forge our way forward. This plan is tentative - as every plan - and will be adjusted as needed. It does, however, provide a clear path of steps and stages to return us to our normal worship patterns.
While our return to in-person worship will be modified, it will be an opportunity for the church to assemble—in person!
Please review our Phased Reopening Plan to know how we will re-introduce the physical gathering of the church body.
Whether you choose to join us for worship in-person, or through livestream, please know that we will anticipate your
participation – either way!
With concern for the safety and well-being of our congregation at the forefront of our thoughts, we would ask our church family with pre-existing health conditions or vulnerable immune systems to continue to join us in worship through the means of our livestreamed services.
Below, you will find a survey to help us shape our next steps further.
With much love,
Pastor Joe
